Sunshine and mild days sees anglers catching good bags this week……..

A cold and blustery weekend made fishing conditions tough but anglers who braved the elements were rewarded with good captures…

Glimpses of Spring weather see anglers going forth …..

Last week was filled with wild weather but after it cleared Tuna have been caught right up and down the East Coast and trout fishing in the Derwent is still rewarding.

With relatively good weather and the opening of trout season for the year meant anglers went forth with confidence …..

With the southern estuaries clearing of murky waters and the opening of the 2019 – 20 trout season upon us anglers are excited …… while saltwater anglers are pleased we have some settled weather this week ….

Although only half way through winter … this week with milder conditions we definitely have a hint of spring in the air. 

We are not really sure how much fishing was actually done last week with the State being torn apart in an Antarctic weather event but ……

Cool calm weather made some species tough to catch and others were on fire..
